Tdh and Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) organized on May 23rd a side event to the World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva. Called “Transforming Primary Healthcare in the Digital Age“, it was dedicated to clinical decision support tools.
Supported by Burkina Faso Ministry of Health (MoH), it features prominent speaker such as Alain Labrique, Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University and mHealth Specialist, Valérie D’Acremont, clinical epidemiologist at Swiss TPH or Hani Eskandar, ICT Applications Coordinator at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
The event was the opportunity to discuss the use of digital job aids in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs), and the opportunities and challenges they bring. During the following Q&A session, participants brought up topics such as environmental impact or sustainability.
