Guillaume Foutry, IeDA Project Manager, traveled to South Africa to participate in the Africa Regional Workshop on Improving Routine Data for Child Health in National Health Information Systems, organized by USAID.

Guillaume participated to this international workshop by presenting the IeDA project, sharing the learned lessons from 4 years of work in Burkina Faso and discussing the future project developments for 2018-2020.

Representatives of the Ministries of Health of the various delegations present (Ethiopia, Uganda, DRC, Mozambique, South Africa and Nigeria) were all impressed by the scope of the project. Indeed, by the end of October 2017, 604 Health and Social Protection Centers will benefit from the Electronic Consultation Registry (REC).
